Information security and use

Site forms and processors
Messages sent through the site forms (contact, booking request and newsletter subscription) are delivered by email through Brevo, a European platform that acts as a processor for Casa do Rolapipas under Article 28 of the GDPR. In this process, Brevo only handles the data needed to deliver the message (name, email, phone, requested dates and the message text) and does not use it for any other purpose.
Cookies policy
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device, for example to remember preferences or measure visits.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, and it currently stores no cookies on your device. If it ever needs one, it will only be a cookie strictly necessary for the site to work (for example, spam protection on the forms), which does not require consent, and this policy will be updated.
Cookie management
You can set the devices and browsers you use to reject some or all cookies, with anonymous browsing being the most common method. Blocking essential cookies may restrict site features and cause unexpected behaviour.
Learn how to manage cookies in each browser: Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Audience measurement
To understand how the site is used and improve it (for example, which pages are visited most and at which step a booking request is left unfinished), we use PostHog, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt). It is configured to work without cookies and without storing any information on your device:
- visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that changes every day;
- your IP address is used only for that calculation and it is not stored;
- we do not record sessions or collect what you type into forms.
Copyright and intellectual property
All data, trademarks and content on this website are protected by national and international intellectual-property law. Reproduction for personal use is permitted, but modifications, imitations, transmissions or the sale of any content are prohibited. The exception is the right to quote, as long as the source is clearly identified.
All texts, images, illustrations, photographs, trademarks and other elements of the site may be protected by law. Some images may be copyrighted by their providers (for example, photos from image banks).

For ease of navigation, the site may include links to other websites. If you choose to use them, you should review and accept the rules of those sites. We cannot guarantee their quality nor assume responsibility for the content or features of external portals.
